Why It Matters

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, identity verification is now required for:

  • All company directors (new and existing)

  • People with Significant Control (PSCs)

  • Anyone submitting filings on behalf of a company

Without verification, you cannot form a new company, become a director, or submit filings to Companies House.

Already a company director?
You’ll need to provide your existing Companies House Personal Code so we can submit your verification on your behalf.
If you’re not yet a director, we’ll arrange your verification and you’ll receive your new code once completed.

Please Note – Additional Requirements for Overseas Clients

To comply with UK anti-money laundering regulations, we are required to obtain verified identification from all customers.

If you are located outside of the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand, you will need to provide certified copies of your identification documents before we can process your identity verification.

Certified documents must be signed and dated by an authorised professional (such as a solicitor, notary public, accountant, or equivalent regulated professional in your country) confirming that the copy is a true likeness of the original document.

We will be unable to proceed with your identity verification until certified documentation has been received and approved.
