When forming your company, you’ll be asked to choose a Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code that describes what your business does — from consulting and finance to design, childcare, or marketing.

We’ll need some basic information about your company director(s):

• Full name

• Date of birth (must be at least 16 years old)

• Occupation (you can simply write “Company Director”)

• Nationality

• Residential address (not shown publicly)

• Service address (this appears on the public record)
  We offer a Directors’ Privacy Address Service, allowing you to use our professional address on the public record instead of your own — protecting your privacy while keeping everything fully compliant.

Your director is legally responsible for the company — but we’ll make sure all your details are submitted correctly and securely.

Every limited company must have at least one shareholder — often, that’s also the director.

Depending on ownership levels, we’ll ask for a few details such as:

• Full name

• Service address

• Date of birth (for significant shareholders)

• Nationality and nature of control

• Three short pieces of security information (e.g. town of birth, NI number, etc.)

This ensures your company is fully compliant while keeping your personal information safe.

Appointing a company secretary is optional — many business owners handle these duties themselves.

But if you’d like to appoint one, we’ll simply need their name, date of birth, nationality, occupation, and address details.

If anyone outside your listed shareholders or directors has significant control (for example, owning more than 25% of the company or voting rights), we’ll ask for their:

• Full name

• Date of birth

• Nationality

• Residential and service addresses

• Nature of control

This is part of maintaining transparency and compliance with UK company law.

As part of our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, we’ll need to verify your identity — but we’ve made it quick, secure, and seamless.

Once you’ve submitted your details, you’ll receive a text or email with a secure biometric verification link.
Simply follow the link to:
